Hello,
Im Morgan, Kayla’s childhood and lifelong friend. It’s with the heaviest heart that Im writing this out- I’m asking for anyone that has anything to spare to PLEASE in this extreme time of need to help out financially with the absolutely hardest time of Kayla and Shawn’s life. Any amount will add up and help in some sort of way (food, living expenses, gas, rent, medical). Shawn has now been in an induced coma and in critical condition in the ICU since the end of September. It’s just been so many tough days piling up and they can’t seem to catch a break or see the light at the end of this tunnel right now. Shawn and Kayla are thousands of miles away from their families dealing with this situation which makes it even more difficult. Without the help of having family around Kayla has had to completely devote her time to being there for her husband. Therefore being able to work and financially keep afloat has not been a viable option. Kayla has been full time (overtime) ever since I can remember, she’s been such an incredibly hard worker since she could get her first job. Unfortunately since she’s in the service industry there isn’t much financial help during these situations- and mentally right now working isn’t an option. She should be with Shawn. Shawn has been facing health issues ever since battling Covid in 2020 and has been dealing with side effects ever since, making him unable to work. They haven’t had it easy in years now, and we need to help!! Kayla can’t do this on her own, but she isn’t alone in this- she has us- we have the ability to make a slight difference in the most difficult time for her and Shawn. We can take one of the weights off of her shoulders to ensure she doesn’t have to worry about daily finances currently, and can hopefully help with medical expenses afterwards.I’ve known both Kayla and Shawn my entire life and I got to see Kayla flourish when she met Shawn- they are soul mates and there is no denying that. So seeing them both go through this is absolutely ripping me apart. My heart is so heavy as I end on this note. Please, if you have anything, consider donating here-
Thank you,
