The Hohnstein family has just suffered a devastating loss...their daughter, Kayla Lynn Martini, (aged 28) passed away suddenly on May 24th. Due to ongoing investigations, explanation of her death will not be released. This tragic news has left the Hohnsteins in shock. Kayla's death occurred in Toronto.
Kayla was this beautiful intelligent young lady full of life, her soul was truly compassionate inside and out. She would do anything for anyone and with her love of travel, her understanding of diversity and people was truly remarkable. She was a young woman going places while helping others.
A diamond.
Kayla's large family has been through a lot in recent years. As a family with 16 children, news of father Gerald's permanent disability due to a MRSA infection that damaged his spine and leaves him in chronic pain has been an emotional and financial blow to the family.
The intention of this Go Fund Me page is to help raise funds for the Hohnstein family to bring Kayla and her belongings back home and to offset the costs of the celebration of life and funeral expenses. The funds will be accessed directly by Kayla's mom, Carrie. I know that every contribution will be truly appreciated as we all mourn Kayla's death and try to support her family as they struggle to cope with their overwhelming loss.
