As many of you are aware, Kayla was recently diagnosed with GBS (Guillian - Barre Syndrome). This is a rare disorder in which the immune system attacks the nerves and leads to paralysis of the entire body. To learn more about this condition, click here: Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS)

The good news is that the doctors are confident she will eventually learn to walk again and make a full recovery. She is currently in the hospital doing intensive physical therapy and while her spirits remain good, she has a long road ahead.

Many of you have asked how you can help, so we have established this page to support Kayla and her family. We hope to assist by alleviating some of the financial burden so she and her family can put their time and energy into healing.
