Kayla is a light to all who know her! Her beautiful soul shines from the inside out. See her beautiful smile hiking in the Gorge in a time before cancer. Kayla is the lovely 32-year-old on the right. She has fought vigorously since her breast cancer diagnosis last summer. We all expected her to triumph this spring. She completed her chemo and was recovering from a mastectomy. But instead, we were heartbroken to hear that her breast cancer had metastasized to her lungs and bones. She is receiving experimental treatments. Unfortunately, the costs for those treatments and her caregivers are mounting. That is why this fund has been started.

Kayla's care for others is sincere and unfailing. In our small family-owned business, she is loved by all on the team. She left countless supportive notes on team member desks, decorated our offices, and created games for our team events. We are all touched by Kayla's constant smile and care for others. So it is no surprise that many have asked me what they can do to help Kayla and her family. This fund is my answer to that question.
