One of my closest coworkers and friend, Amber, lost her 35 year old sister on December 26. After months of being in and out of the hospital, and the entire holiday weekend on a ventilator, continuous dialysis, and many other forms of life support, Kayla Burd lost her fight with Lupus. She leaves behind her 9 year old son who will now have to navigate this world without his mother. It’s not fair to lose such a young life so soon. It’s cruel and it’s painful. Anything we can do to help the family with medical and funeral expenses while the process everything would be appreciated. Thank you!
