In Early November 2025 l decided l was going to run the Henderson Newcastle Marathon on April 19th, l rang Dom, he too was keen to do the half marathon. With it l wanted to raise funds for a organisation. l had a few in mind. l decided on the Cancer council. As cancer has impacted everyone's life in some shape or form and l want to do my part in raising money, so that the individuals and family's that are impacted have the support and care through this dark time. Cancer council is a non-profitable foundation that rely heavily on donation's to provide funding to achieve more successful preventable/early detection strategy's, provide better treatment and allow for more catered support.

Dom and l, will greatly appreciate any donation so we can smash this run and this donation goal.
