7/9 Update: I want to thank everyone who has donated here as well as anyone that reached out and donated directly. We have the camp and flights paid off completely. We leave next weekend and the only balance left is a portion of the hotel and putting a little spending money in Kaydences pocket for her trip. So I am sharing for the last few days before we go just in case anyone has it on their heart to help.

Update: I have updated our goal because we have had some direct donations, and I have been doing the mom thing of working multiple jobs and donating plasma. But we are down to crunch time, we are currently about $1000 short of paying her balance off which is due in 2 weeks. Please know that any and every single bit helps and is appreciated. If you would rather donate directly please feel free to reach out to me and we can make those arrangements as well. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate any donation and shares. We are so close to reaching our goal.

Many of you know Kaydence and to know her is to love her! She is humble and kind, she is independent, she is very smart, and she is the kind of young lady that prefers to collect experiences instead of materialistic things. She is the kind of child that truly doesn't ask for much and is grateful for anything that comes her way. Kaydence has always, effortlessly, done well and/or excelled in school. So much so that, in the past, she was nominated for and got to attend an educational, leadership summer camp that she had to be selected for by administrators of her school. Well, she has done it once again! Kaydence has been invited to attend a summer camp; however, it is out of our financial realm, and we will be needing some help. This time, Kaydence has been invited to study Forensic Science at Columbia University in NYC. Yes, at 15 years old, she has already been invited to spend a portion of her summer at an Ivy League College studying Forensic Science - talk about making her momma proud!

As the mother of this amazing child, that rarely asks for much, I naturally want to make this dream come true for her. I have been a single mom to Kaydence her entire life. And I have always tried to show her that with enough hard work, dedication, focus, strength, prayer, and faith, we can make what seems impossible a reality. So right now, I am hoping that you all will help me in sending her to Columbia University to study. I have set the goal at what we are short and would need to cover the cost of the camp itself and flights to get her to and from NYC, as well as put a little spending money in her pocket while she is there. Please help me show her that even her hard work and dedication to her education is paying off by rewarding her with this experience. Any little bit helps, and every single dollar counts. We truly appreciate the support. We also understand if you cannot donate but hope that you would at least share.
