It's with a very heavy heart we share that Kaydence, Josh's first-born daughter, (Nicole's stepdaughter) lost her life in a tragic car accident early Saturday December 9, 2023.

Hello, my name is Michelle Thorne. I'm Nicole Nygaard's cousin. Nicole, her husband Josh Nygaard and their family have suffered this unfathomable loss! Kaydence leaves behind her 5-month-old daughter Lakelynn, her siblings Collin, Hailey, Adyson, Jace, her dad Josh and stepmom Nicole. As well as lots of other family that loved her dearly!

Kaydence was only 19 years old, and she loved being Mommy to little Lakelynn. Kaydence was talented at drawing and painting, she loved camping and fishing with her family, and the late-night gossips she shared with her sisters! Kaydence was a bright, loveable young woman who had her whole life ahead of her, raising her beautiful little girl, all that was taken from her in this very horrific accident!
