Kayden Top Surgery!
My name is Kayden. For over 10 years now, I have been in the process of transitioning from female to male and it has been a slow, painful journey.
I am absolutely lucky in my life to have supportive and loving family and friends, but the current biggest obstacle to my continuing happiness is the same problem I think most people have.
Money.
Double Incision bilateral mastectomy, or top surgery, is a quality of life necessity. I cannot continue living with what feels like tumors growing from my chest and because I am getting older, complications are more likely if I wait any longer. I have the chance to get this surgery within two months if I can get the funds organized, or even a portion of it.
My chest (I weighed 'em!) are about two pounds each. This is also going to help immensely with the back problems I currently have.
These funds cover the surgery itself, as well as the facility fees, the consultation, and any other fees that might crop up with the hospital. Any amount that I can receive will help immensely, especially since it's a possibilty that I will not be able to get any form of medical assistance because society at large still considers this a "cosmetic" surgery.
