My name is April and I just tragically lost my 15-year-old son. This loss is devastating and unbelievable. Nothing could ever prepare a parent to bury a child. We are asking for any help to lay our son to rest and help our family navigate through this tragic loss. My son was shot and on life support for 2 days before being declared deceased with no blood flow to his brain.

My son has 7 siblings ranging from 12-27 years old and none of them understand what happened and are grieving immensely with their loss. My son had many friends that are shocked and in disbelief. He was a light in this world whose smile lit up any dark place. He had dreams and aspirations which were tragically taken from him and he will never get to follow. We were not prepared mentally, emotionally, or financially for such a devastating loss. Anything helps, even if it’s just a share to help lay my son to rest.
