Kayden Jongsma’s Fight With WSS

Hello, this is Kayden Jongsma I am a one year old with Weidemann Steiner Syndrome. I have spent most of my life in the hospital fighting to be healthy. WSS is a rare genetic condition that causes many different types of Heath issues, some of mine are, hypo pituitaryism, a rotated kidney, Agenesis of the corpus callosum, and intestinal failure.

I have been hospitalized over 20 times in my short life. I have currently been inpatient for the last 2 months. When I’m discharged from this hospital I am going to a rehabilitation center to work on my feeds. But if you would look at me with out my feeding tubes or central line you would never know something was wrong with me. I have the biggest smile and I’m always in such a happy mood.
