In October of 2022, Kay Pacha Initiative will be returning to the Amazon Rainforest to complete the construction of the Aquicuana Reserve research station that we started building last year. The goal of the research station is to provide a space for local biologists to study the reserve and gain a better understanding of the plants, insects and animals that inhabit it. Through this research our partners at Sustainable Bolivia will be able to propose to the Bolivian government an increase in size of the protected reserve by 1 million acres within the next 10 years.

With a donation of as little as $10 you can contribute to the materials and labor needed to complete this research station. Your donation will also go to a reforestation project, where volunteers will be planting trees in areas of the jungle that have been affected by drought and fires.

The Amazon is one of the largest sources of oxygen on the planet. If we don't act now to protect it from manmade destruction and climate change the consequences in coming decades could be dire. With your help we can do what we can to keep this valuable ecosystem flourishing for future generations.
