Get Kay to US National Invention Convention
Donation protected
Seventh grade student recipient of the US National Invention Convention Kaylee V is committed to traveling to Henry Ford Museum in Michigan this June to present her invention that prevents buckets from getting lodged together over 3 days.
Help show support of creative thinking, public speaking and patent research by investing in her trip.
In 2023 Kay competed with 20,000 other student entries from 275 Connecticut schools and placed in top 20, she was told she had a better odds of getting into Harvard than receiving this invitation to the Nationals! She has been showcased on CTLive, recognized at UConn, CT Science Center & Travelers Insurance for the Bucket Unstucker design.
Weekly, she meets after school with her coach, a retired Science teacher and strategizes ways to improve her patent pending design and pitch to judges. On Saturdays she participates with CT Invention Convention team completing research curriculum.
Funds will go towards flight, hotel room and entrance fee for the competition as our town/ state does not provide compensation.
Thanks for considering in advanced!
