Kay Cooley’s Medical Fund

Kay is at Mayo in Jacksonville due to a ruptured aneurysm. She has had a coil placed yesterday and they’ve went back in and double checked it to make sure the bleeding has stopped, it looks good right now. As of now, she’s still sedated but they are trying to wake her up to check her responsiveness. She is far from out of the woods and will definitely have a long road to recovery. 

She has recently moved her mother, Sylvia (Granny), in to help take care of her. She also has her daughter, Savannah, and son, Nathan, at home as well. Granny nor Savannah can drive, so they are dependent on family members to get them to and from the hospital to see her, when Nathan is at work. Her niece, Caticia, has been taking time off of work and driving back and forth from Brunswick to help with Savannah and Granny. They could use any help that they can get at this time, whether it be helping with money for transportation or expenses.

For those that don’t know me, I am a good friend of Caticia’s and have become very close with these ladies! I will try to keep everyone updated on her progress!
