On October 23rd Kay-Cee went in for hysterectomy surgery and it was discovered that she had what appeared to be cancer in her abdomen, which was confirmed the following day.  She is now facing travel costs back and forth to San Diego, missed work for her and her husband as well as surgery and other costs. She has a Caring Bridge account where you can follow her journey more closely.  We're hoping to raise enough money so that Kay-Cee can focus 100% on her fight and healing and her family can focus 100% on supporting her.  She has travel coming up in less than one week so the more we can share her story and the more broadly we can reach the better!
