Kay's Cancer Fund for Medical Bills

In April 2019, our family got the devastating news that no one ever wants to hear...our mother, Kay, has cancer. A year and a half prior she had surgery to remove a tumor in her colon. We were told that the tumor was malignant, but we were lucky because the Doctor “got it all.” They said she was clear and only needed to follow up with a yearly colonoscopy. Needless to say, finding out that she indeed had cancer and that it had metastasized to her liver, came as a shock. 


Sticker shock followed. Cancer is impossibly expensive! Medical bills, insurance co-payments, supplements, treatments, ambulance rides, hospital stays...it all adds up. All the while, the household income is drastically decreased and suddenly bills that were always paid on time before are piling up. The stress of the financial burden is more than what is healthy for someone who is fighting for their life. It is a difficult thing to admit when you need help, but our family is in need of relief. We understand if you are unable to give monetarily, we would just ask for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
