Hi, my name is Elizabeth Dowding. My stepdaughter Kay had her first baby on Monday, April 3, 2023. She gave birth to a handsome baby boy named Stone. This is my first grandchild and I am thrilled.

Stone has been in the NICU since birth. He was born with the heart condition tetralogy of fallot. He will need an operation to repair this condition. He also has a pulmonary sling.

On April 7, Stone was moved to Boston Childrens Hospital. This is over two hours from the parent's home. Kay and the father (Ryan) want to be there in Boston for their child but I know it will be very expensive for them.

I am hoping to raise some money to help the new parents cover hotel, food, and transportation costs. Any additional funds will be used to cover out-of-pocket medical costs.

This is a hard time for them and anything helps. Thank you!
