Kawachi Medical Fund

The Kawachi family is an amazing little tribe. They are some of the most compassionate and kind people I've ever know. Last week, Brent fell ill with the stomach bug that has been plaguing so many this Holiday season. By Saturday, it was clear there was more going on. Brent was rushed to the ER, and admitted to the ICU after discovering EXTREEMLY elevated blood sugar levels. Brent has never been diabetic before, but thankfully, his wife recognized the distress his body was in. When she checked his glucose, it was 518.  As of today, they are still running tests ( expesive ones like CT scans) to try to figure out what else is happening to this previously healthy guy. In the midst of the fray, their furnace went out and they have a revolving door of family and friends ( most of whom are from out of town) trying to keep up with 3 year old Kira, while Mama Kayti juggles this all. Brent is now on disability from his job, and facing a LONG road to get himself back to good health. They dont even know what that path will look like yet. The medical bills ALONE are going to be tremendous....this family needs a Christmas miracle. Please, help me show them that there are people who care and that they will never walk alone.
