Kavanagh Family Hurricane Helene Help!!!! I am a father of 6 from St Petersburg FL who recently lost everything during Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Our house was destroyed and we lost everything. The recovery has wiped us out financially with no assistance from FEMA. This was the last thing I ever thought I would have to do. We own a commercial fishing vessel and we are a fishing family who loves feeding our community. We are on the verge of losing the boat due to the financial hardship. I used every penny of savings on shelter during the storm and getting my family back into a new home and back in school. We cant lose the boat or we will lose everything again.
