Kaushank is a brilliant guy, a passionate teacher, a true friend, and above all, a loving and dedicated father and husband. In May 2022, Kaushank suffered a heart attack at the age of 45. He had to undergo an Emergency Angioplasty, and 2 stents were placed in his heart. Kaushank is also diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease CKD Stage 5. Both his kidneys also stopped functioning. He was in ICU for almost a month. During his recovery, he also had to undergo medical treatment for diabetic retinopathy to recover partial vision loss due to diabetes. He has been going through dialysis twice a week since then. His only option now is a kidney transplant which is extremely expensive in India, and it will be a long road to recovery.

Kaushank and his family have been dealt one impossible situation after another for quite some time now, and they have exhausted all their resources and savings. Insurance in India is of little help when it comes to heart or kidney diseases. Kaushank, his 14-year-old daughter, and his wife have been through a lot already and are now in need of help for a Kidney transplant & recovery expenses.

Kaushank's background: Kaushank is a highly educated person and holds multiple degrees from some of the top schools in the world ( U of Chicago, SMU Singapore, U of Tokyo ). The reason for his medical condition is not any bad habits or lifestyle. He was in financial distress after his failed startups. This led to hypertension. He had some family history of diabetes and blood pressure. That further aggravated during the process.
