Kaupo and I have been extremely challenged over the last few months. Unfortunately I was seriously ill starting 4/2 and into early June. This, combined with the new COVID world has knocked me down financially. As I have physically recovered Kaupo has become ill. Kaupo is my heart. He is an earth angel who has come through for me time and time again, including being my primary caretaker when I was knocked flat for two months. He is a gentle, sweet, well mannered soul who fills the hearts of all that meet him.
We currently are unsure exactly what is happening. He became sick on 6/18 with digestion issues. Since then things have rapidly progressed. He has not been able to consume water since Sunday. He has been medically receiving Fluids since then and was admitted to emergency and specialty care today. We have confirmed amass on his adrenals, that is deep and large. The left side of his face is extremely swollen, which may be indicating a second growth in his head. Kaupo, is only 7, and until 6/18 was extremely healthy. Our next steps are a CT scan of his abdomen and head, then potential and likely surgery. So far his medical care is at $3500, and will be $5500 before we even begin operating.Anything you can donate to support this sweet, well mannered and loving soul would be greatly appreciated.
