Hi. Don and I are starting this GoFundMe for our daughter, Autumn and her family, to help with expenses with the passing of her husband, Kauai who passed away October 12th.

Kauai was a big man with an even bigger heart, full of love and laughter. He was so proud of his kids... they weren't his biologically but he accepted the responsibility of raising them, loving and treating them like they were his. He showered them with love and affection; was an awesome role model. Autumn was the love of his life. They were a great team and were in the process of building their lives together. He was an electrician by trade but was able to do anything he put his mind to. He recently underwent a liver transplant and had several hospitalizations after due to worsening kidney function; and had been unable to return to work. The medical and other bills are overwhelming. Autumn also lost her mom recently so is trying to deal with that loss as well.

Kauai was one of the nicest, kindest men we've ever known and are so sorry he had to leave this world. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.
