Jeff Katzer Remembrance Fund

As you may have heard, our beloved Jeff Katzer has passed away due to complications of Covid-19. We are all trying to come to terms with what has happened over the last 60+ days since Jeff tested positive. This was a true injustice and inexplicable medical anomaly (as he was healthy, fit, young, vaccinated, etc.). Jeff was a model father and citizen who was universally loved by his community, always did the right thing, and put others ahead of himself. Jeff was taken too soon.

Due to the evolution of this situation, specifically with Jeff’s unfortunate passing, we have repurposed and renamed this GoFundMe fundraiser (which was originally intended to handle long term costs of Jeff’s rehabilitation, etc.) and reopened it with the following purpose: to support the surviving Katzer Family (Lizette, Mitch, and Jenna) through this extremely difficult transition. The raised funds will be used for: end of life costs and unforeseen expenses to support Lizette and the family. If there are funds remaining after this transition period, the family will donate to a charity of their choosing in Jeff’s name (specifically a charity he would’ve liked to support).
