He began as a stray, surviving abuse, firework burns, and chemical injuries before a local charity saved him. When we adopted him two years ago, he finally learned what it meant to have toys, cuddles, and a safe place to sleep.

But recently, in a tragic accident, Katsu was run over. His femur shattered, his pelvis fractured, and his hip and ankle were severely damaged. To save his life, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to amputate his leg.

Katsu is now recovering at home, but he faces ongoing challenges—phantom limb pain, nerve damage, and the need for round-the-clock care. His medications, vet visits, and treatments are adding up quickly.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of his surgery, pain management, and ongoing recovery. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards keeping him comfortable, easing his pain, and giving him the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
