Wife. Mother. Daughter. Granddaughter. Sister. Aunt. Niece. Cousin. Friend. Nurse. All roles that Katrina is amazing at being. 
Katrina has spent 10+ years as a dedicated medical-surgical nurse. Katrina has always had a strong desire to help others, but at this time it's Katrina who needs others to help her. In October 2015, Katrina was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. At that time she underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries. Her strength and positive attitude, along with the support of her family and friends, allowed her to beat her breast cancer. 
Unfortunately in October 2017, it was discovered that her cancer has returned and is metastatic. Katrina is determined to battle and conquer her cancer once again, however this most recent diagnosis will require countless doctor's visits, tests, procedures, and medications. All which bring a financial burden to Katrina, her husband of 11 years, Chris, and their 8 and 4 year old sons, Caiden and Collin. 
Her positive attitude cannot pay the current bills, medical expenses, and lost wages accompanying her battle. So that's why we, as Katrina's family, are asking you to help her and her husband. 
Katrina has the beautiful talent of bringing humor to a stressful situation at just the right moment. And in the midst of chaos, Katrina has always been the "voice of reason" that calms others and makes them feel that all will be okay. Her strength and personality are traits to be admired. 
Katrina has always been one to help other people, so now in turn we're asking people to help her. Any donations will directly support Katrina and her fight against breast cancer. That way she can get back to her career as a nurse, and help other people as soon as possible.
