Katie's Treatment & Rehabilitation

In 2009, Katie was working as an elementary school teacher and was on a field trip. She suddenly had a Brain Aneurysm rupture. She was 6 months pregnant, and had less than a 8% chance to survive! The Dr's at UCSF were amazing, and she made a miraculous recovery and gave birth to our son, Hunter, 3 months later. Over the past 7 years Katie has had 17 major surgeries, brain and spinal cord.  She has developed an incurable condition, "Syringomyelia", which is a large cyst in her spinal cord. She has a VP shunt in her brain, and 6 shunts in her spinal cord. Katie deals with chronic pain, neuropathy, numbness, reduced function, and a number of other issues on a daily basis. We have found many naturopathic treatments that help her tremendously in healing, pain relief, mood, and overall well being. She has accumulated a large amount of medical bills over the past 7 years, and we cannot afford the treatments her Dr has recommended. Our medical insurance does not cover naturopathic treatments. The treatments include, IV therapy, Ozone treatment, hormone therapy, scar tissue therapy, Acupuncture, and many more. Our goal would allow Katie to get these treatments for 3x per week for an entire year, and payoff medical bills! The treatments are $200-$500 per visit. So, we are raising money so Katie can get these treatments and be that healthy, outgoing, loving, fun, magical person that we love so much! Katie is a magical, magnetic person that lights up the room everywhere she goes. A little about me, I am Jesse Ross, Katie's husband and partner in life, for the past 18 years!  We live in Loomis, CA with our son Hunter. I am 100% committed to making sure Katie gets the treatments and care she needs to heal and be healthy. These funds will go directly to Katie for the naturopathic treatments, and medical bills. I have seen her be so happy, healthy, and pain free after getting these treatments. The Ozone treatment is particularly good for her, and we have seen her transform in a matter of minutes to a happy, pain free, healthy woman!
