Katie's Holiday Hope for Healing Donations

Hello, this is Katie, my goddaughter's mother and my spiritual sister! She was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, aka Pseudotumor. A condition where she has fluid building up on her brain and around her spinal cord, which causes her to daily live in excruciating and at times debilitating pain. After many years of searching for her diagnosis and treatment answers, she found a doctor in Albany. We thought this was the end of her long-time suffering! Unfortunately, for her, this was not the case. Katie’s shunt did not take, and she is now in worse shape than before surgery. She went to the doctor’s this week and found out that she must go in for emergency surgery. With the holidays so close and her husband just starting a new job, her family needs help! Katie will be down and out of work for the next 6-8 weeks. She unfortunately lost both her parents and brother a few years back. So, she really only has her husband and kids. This family of 5 has been through so much and yet they are always looking to help others. Their faith is what keeps them going! I am reaching out on behalf of them to all of you and asking for your help. In any amount that you can, please help to lighten their burden for them during this difficult time. With the holidays ahead and 3 kids to buy for, their monthly expenses still coming in, and not to forget the travel expenses that they are incurring by having to be at the medical facility that is 4 - 4 ½ hours from their home.
