Hi, my name is Katie Finken. I'm a sophomore in high school, and I've been in Girl Scouts for 11 years. The Gold Award is the highest award that you can earn in Girl Scouts. I recently began the gold award process, and my Gold Award aims to renovate the Museum located on one of our Girl Scout camps; Camp Maha. Right now, the museum does not have proper display cases to showcase the items in our collection, and many of the artifacts have not been handled with the care that they require. This project is very important to me, as preserving our time-honored Girl Scout traditions can be appreciated by future Girl Scouts for generations. This GoFundMe will provide me with the funds I need to build displays for all of our fantastic Girl Scouts artifacts, as well as to build satellite displays at other Girl Scout camps to promote the Marie Museum.
