Katie’s costs/debts for entering monastery

In January 2019, I will be entering a Catholic monastery. For my first year I will be responsible for covering my own healthcare costs.
I am running into financial difficulties because this past April 2018 I ruptured my Achilles’ tendon. This made it impossible for me to work my part-time job for several months, and so not only have I not been able to save money in preparation for entering, I have also run into some credit card debt for monthly living and health expenses.
As many of you may know, I have felt called to enter this monastery since around 2013, and it is a decision I am not making lightly. Any financial help you might be willing to offer would be greatly appreciated.
My goal is to raise $6,000 to help pay for my 2019 insurance costs, and also to help pay off the debts I have incurred this past year due to my injury.
