Katie's Barn Fire

On Mother's Day, tragedy struck Katie's barn when a heavy fire engulfed the premises. Thanks to a neighbor's alert at 2:30 am, Katie and I rushed to the scene to find the barn filled with smoke and flames advancing towards the horse stalls. Despite the chaos, we managed to rescue all 16 horses, albeit with some suffering from smoke inhalation. While we are grateful that there were no injuries to the horses, the fire has left a devastating impact on Katie's livelihood. Countless belongings, including custom saddles, boots, bridles, halters, furniture, and essential equipment for her business, were lost in the blaze. Additionally, the horses require time off for their health and safety, hindering Katie's ability to generate income to maintain her lesson horses. If you know Katie, you know that she usually is always putting others needs in front of hers- from her horses, to employees, to strangers she doesn't even know. She would be the last person to ask for help for herself. She has a tough road ahead not only with her horses, but with her business in terms of business operations and replacing her equipment and belongings. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
