Katie got robbed.

Hi there. I'm Courtney, the one in the picture with my eyes open. The other girl there is my best friend Katie. She's one of my favorite people in the universe, and she just got assaulted and mugged on July 17th. They took her laptop and her phone.

Now, I have moved back to DC, so I can't go roaming the streets looking to bust the kneecaps of whatever jerks did this to her (seriously?! people SUCK!!!), and I'm not so loaded that I can just buy my friend a new phone and computer just because I love her so much. But if I had enough to spare, I totally would, because I totally love her that much.

And I know I'm not the only one. A lot of people love Katie Parker. Maybe if enough of us can help out a little, we can take a big chunk out of the cost of replacing her phone and laptop--you know, the devices which we all use to communicate with her...

Getting robbed sucks. Let's show her some love.
