It is with great regret and sorrow that I find myself writing this.  As many of you already know, on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 Katie went on to be with God.  Her loss is devastating and heartbreaking and there are truly no words that could ever begin to express the amount of grief and heartache her loved ones are experiencing during this difficult time.  

Katie was a beautiful spirit and she had a smile that could light up a room.  To know her was to love her.  She was a doting and dedicated mother and wife.  She was a one of a kind free spirit and this world will never be the same without her.  I was blessed to have known her for the short amount of time that I did. She had a heart of gold that touched so many of us.  We were better for knowing her.  Her generous and gentle nature will forever be missed.

The loss of Katie has left all of reeling and desperate to do what we can to assist her family through its darkest hours.  Many have asked what they can do to help so with the approval of her family we have created a fund that will help with the financial burden of this tragedy.  There is no monetary value that will ever lessen the blow of this loss but it will allow them to stay focused on supporting one another and seeing her three precious angels through this nightmare. The funds will go towards any burial expenses and help Adrian and her family care for their three beautiful children.
