On April 18 2026, Alex McNamara, Georgia Howe, Brad Bradley, Ewen Bufton, Alice Livingstone-Wallace, Oliver Owens and Ted Atkinson will be running the Ibiza Marathon in aid of the Welsh Air Ambulance Service. This charity is very close to our hearts.

In 2024, we lost a true friend, a soldier, one of one the one and only, Katie Worrell. The air ambulance service did everything possible to try to save Katie and Adam, and for that, we will always be grateful.

Katie blessed all our lives in different ways, and she continues to inspire us every day to live fully and appreciate what truly matters. She embraced life wholeheartedly, stood out from the crowd, and yet was also a kind and sensitive friend when you needed her most.

She was everything we strive to be and everything we hope to have in a friend. Very few people leave such a lasting imprint on your life, and we’ve come to realise that more as the years go by. We’ll always be grateful that Katie left her mark on us, and will forever carry that gratitude.

Katie loved Ibiza, which is why we’ve chosen to take on this challenge there, the perfect place to honour her memory. By doing so, we hope to support the Welsh Air Ambulance Service that relies entirely on donations and needs £8–11 million each year to operate. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help them continue their incredible work and bring loved ones home.
