Katie with traveling expenses to MSK

Hi, our names are Leah and Ashley and we are fundraising for Katie Stamm-Gordon. She has been bravely battling stage four colon cancer since April of 2023. Due to her advanced diagnosis, Katie went to Memorial Sloan Kettering to receive cutting edge care. Unfortunately, each trip is costly and now that her cancer has metastasized to her spine she will be requiring radiation which means even more travel. Miraculously Katie has been able to continue to teach her beloved children as a third-grade special education teacher but has had to take additional days off due to a recent hospitalization. The children at Solvay Elementary are a source of happiness and purpose that continues to inspire her to fight. Let's come together as a community and shower this giving teacher with love and funding so that her only concern at night is this battle that she is determined to win and not mounting bills from non-stop travel to receive care. #SoStammStrong
