Her name is Katie and she lives in Essex.

She was diagnosed with Stage 1 Anal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in February 2024, the cancer is also in left lymph node in her groin – metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma low grade.

Colchester Hospital is supporting her, however she has so far not accepted any chemo and radiotherapy which is the treatment offered in the first instance, if that were to fail the next step is removal of anus and rectum and a stoma bag. The cancer could move to the vagina.

Katie has been involved in natural health and has been a holistic therapist – carrying out all massages, reflexology, Reiki Energy Balancing and Far Infra Red Light Therapy for clients dedicated to helping people for over 15 years. She now needs help herself.

She is hoping this treatment can offer another and powerful arm to the holistic approach to dealing with stresses on the mind and body in this toxic world that result in illness. She feels that she has to go along with her beliefs that the body ‘can’ heal itself. She has changed her life completely since this diagnosis and she won’t lie, it is frightening, but she has researched and researched a more natural approach to getting well. She has been using and self-funding many natural nutritional remedies and supplements, alternative treatments (PEMF, Rife, oxygen therapy, red light, far infra-red light and more), change of diet, lifestyle, buying and using alternative therapy equipment, injecting herself with Mistletoe, having intra-venous drips for hours at a time, ozone therapy – insufflation and saunas, ionic detox footbaths, vibrational medicine, colonic irrigations, acupuncture, hydrogen machine treatment, nebulising, fasting, juicing, dealing with trauma in the body, breathing techniques, exercise, re-purposed drugs and on and on. How will the funds be spent ?

She will need at least 200 hours in the EE System room, this will take travelling from Essex to London numerous times and staying in B&Bs. Maybe there are different ways you might be able to help? Do you know someone who owns a B&B, or lives in London (near SW11) who she could stay with? Or someone who travels to London she could travel with? Or maybe you could kindly donate. All help would be so much appreciated.

We need to raise £3,500 in the first instance for her, thank you so much.

Approximation Funds and Treatment Required

This is an idea of how the hours may be achieved, this would depend on how Katie can manage the duration of days and nights and how she might be affected by the treatment, and the travelling. At the same time to continue her life and work as best she can between treatment times. She needs to have the most exposure in the shortest amount of time, with the least stress and least amount of travelling and to minimise the need for booking accommodation as much as possible. If doing daytimes, she will need to stay over and accommodation is expensive. Days can be spent in the EE Room and overnight stays. Zero gravity chairs are used during the day and replaced by beds at night. It is open 24 hours Monday – Saturday. Overnight stays would be easier and less stressful for Katie (less time travelling, able to achieve more hours at each visit, and she would be able to do days and nights consecutively) but nights are more expensive. If she can raise the funds she will be able to afford to do nights and add in additional nights and days to achieve the hours required.
