Katie Williams burial and memorial

My mom, Katie Williams, left us way too soon, just shy of her 71st birthday. She was simply the most honest and genuinely caring person most anyone that knew had ever known. That exact selflessness combined with her illness these past years had taken just about everything she had financially. If it weren’t for the understanding of a specific gentleman, who will always have my respect and appreciation for everything he’s done, she would not have even been able to stay in the home she’d lived in for 30 years with her husband and soulmate Bruce Williams who passed in 2006. Mom was under the impression that all of the arrangements for her to be cremated and buried with Bruce in the Veterans Cemetery were paid but that turns out not to be the case. The expenses for Summers funeral home are $3,000 which does not include any type of memorial service. I set the goal at $5,000 to be able to have a nice service when it’s appropriate given current health climate.
