Katie Thomas Funk Fund

Hello, Friends and Family of Katie Thomas Funk - we need your help and I would like to make you aware of the support Katie, her husband, JD, and her mom, Becky Domke need during this very difficult time. Katie is going through a pretty tremendous challenge as she is experiencing total liver failure.  She is currently on life support at Houston hospital awaiting a liver transplant and the consequences of not finding one in the next several days is very serious.

Katie underwent a surgery many years ago that over time (and unbeknownst to Katie or her doctors)  has significantly impacted her liver, and other major organ, operations.  The issues started earlier this year and her medical team has not been able to get the issues under control.  Katie is receiving the very best care but her health situation is very, very serious and she absolutely must get a new liver as soon as possible.

Katie has not worked in months and her mom, Becky, is traveling back and forth from Minnesota to Houston to support Katie and JD.  The family has medical insurance but after nearly a year of medical treatment, a pending liver transplant surgery, and months of rehabilitation, Katie, JD, and Becky really need our help.
