Help Katie Fight Cancer!

Hi, my name is Cindy Strickland. My daughter, Katie Strickland is currently facing an incredibly challenging journey, and we humbly seek your support and kindness during this time. Katie was diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma that is very aggressive and is rapidly growing. This type of cancer is rare for someone her age, she is only 35 and she is a mother of a five-year-old daughter. Because triple negative breast cancer lacks receptors that other breast cancers have, TNBC tumors do not have the protein they need to respond to common breast cancer treatments, therefore making treatment options challenging and expensive. 

This has led Katie to seek specialized treatment to have the best chance possible of fighting this disease. In the coming months, she will undergo treatment and will no longer be able to work. As she prepares to start treatment, she is faced with a daunting challenge - the overwhelming burden of medical bills. Your generous contributions will make an immeasurable difference for Katie during this challenging period as she focuses on her treatment. Despite the heartbreaking diagnosis, Katie has shown such strength and determination to overcome this disease.
