My dear sweet Sister in Law, Katie Russell was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. For those that know Katie, she is the funniest, most caring and selfless person I have ever met. Katie and her Husband Brian have a long road ahead of them but another thing I know about Katie is that she is strong and a fighter.
Katie will begin 20 weeks of Chemotherapy next week. In addition to your thoughts and prayers, I am asking that we help donate whatever we can to help them through this process. Cancer is ugly and sucks but by coming together we can hopefully ease their burden a bit.
I will try and update everyone as to her progression. Good news is they caught it early and are very optimistic about treatment.
