Hi, my name is Brittany Murphy. I have been a friend of Briana’s for almost 20 years and we graduated from Warren High together.

I have started this fund with Briana’s blessing to help elevate the immediate financial burden that has fallen on her. Any amount helps, and if you can’t donate, sharing is also appreciated.

Early yesterday morning (10/2/2023), I got the unimaginable message that Briana had found her mother Katie unresponsive. Life saving measures were administered, and authorities were called but unfortunately it was too late. Katie was so loved and so cherished. All of us are trying to wrap our heads around Katie’s unexpected and untimely passing.

Briana would like to express her gratitude for all of the messages, calls, and happy memories being shared with her about Katie. And although she may not have the strength to answer them all, she sees them.

Katie’s wishes were to be cremated. We will share an update on any services or memorial if/when they become available. Please reach out if you have any questions.
