Katie and Children Need Your Help to Afford Shelter

Hi, my name is Shelby. I am trying to assist a mom and her two children who are currently living in a hotel to get on their feet.

Katie recently left a toxic/abusive relationship and is currently on the waitlist for apartments. One of the apartments she is on the waiting list for has her in spot 9.

She is currently in a hotel in Brockport and is struggling to stay afloat. She works full-time at a Day Hab and also does DoorDash on the side to make ends meet.

Currently, she is struggling to afford the $100 a night at the hotel.

I am helping her with resources to get her and her children on their feet.

She is looking for a temporary apartment or house for her kids for the time being, or assistance in paying for the hotel.

I am currently helping her with childcare.

If you have any resources you can point us to help her, or if you are able to donate towards helping her family, that would be very gracious of you.

We are currently in touch with a church that is trying to assist in getting an apartment.
