Hi, my name is Amber and I am fundraising for my little sister Katie Torrance. If you know her then you know how much of a beautiful person she is inside and out. She's been through so much with tragically losing our mom at the age of 8 and then her dad at the age of 15. Friends and family came together to help her through such difficult times and our family will forever be grateful for the love and support that still continues to be given to her. It is with great sadness that we ask for you all to come together once again to support our Katie. Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer in may and underwent a double mastectomy in june and is starting her reconstruction journey. She was notified by her doctors that she is now in need of aggressive chemotherapy to ensure that she stays cancer free. This will be a long process for her and she will continue to be out of work for some time. She will not be able to return to work for 12 weeks and will have to additionally take more time off due to the chemo. Her job requires alot of physical activity and its in a school where germs thrive. She can not afford to get sick because it could be detrimental to her health. Please donate anything you can to help Katie and her beautiful little family get through this trying time. She will be hit with many expenses and will be unable to take care of them.
