Katie Needs A New Home For Christmas

Hi, My name is Dawn. I am doing this fundraiser for my dearest friend Katie, who lost her home and everything she owned on Dec. 10th, when a fire broke out at her mobile home in Calverton, only minutes after she had left to meet me so we could bring a coat, Christmas gifts, and other supplies to another woman in need. The fire took everything in a matter of minutes. Sadly, all of her kitties perished in the fire.

According to an article in Patch, had she been home at the time of the fire, she may not have been able to get out. Of course, she would have been trying to save her kitties.

Katie is also the Incredible Katie's Puppets person who has entertained children and adults with her handmade puppets for many, many years until Covid made that very hard to keep going. Her beloved Mr. Mouse puppet was also lost in the fire.

She loves her community in Ramblewood and would love to be able to stay there, so we are hoping to make that happen for her.

At almost 68 years old, Katie is the most helpful, kind, and giving person, and those of us that are lucky enough to be loved by her know exactly what I mean!

During this holiday season, can you find it in your heart to help and care for a woman who has helped so many.
