Two days ago, my sister Katie and her youngest daughter Lena discovered that a fire was quickly spreading near their home in Medical Lake, WA. Without much time to evacuate, my niece Lena grabbed their cat and left immediately. Katie was working all the way out in Post Falls and by the time she made it to Medical Lake, she had just a matter of minutes to evacuate. Her boyfriend was able to grab just a couple of sentimental items before the house was completely engulfed in flames.

It was a complete loss for them.

My sister is an amazing woman and loved her peaceful, humble abode so dearly..

Her youngest daughter is about to start her senior year of high school and all of their essentials will need to be replaced..
