Katie Kats Heroic fight to Live

Katie Kat was found on the side of N. Surf Rd. Sunday, June 1, dying from dehydration and injury from being hit or just fighting with raccoons; a kitten alerted us by crying at her side. She was abandoned pregnant with several others. Before we could get her to safety, she had babies. Someone kitnapped 2 very young siblings (we got them back), but she then apparently moved her kittens and crossed Surf. She must have been fighting hard to save her baby. She had bites all over and a broken foot, and her ankle is disconnected muscle that can't be repaired without fusing the foot bone (which if cage rest and cast and bandaging can't heal is the next way we go).
