This gofundme has been created for Katie Thompson from Honley, UK.

My friend, Katie, has cervical cancer and if you ever needed proof it can happen to anyone, that cancer doesn’t make exceptions, this is it. 

Katie is one of the nicest girls that’ll do anything for anyone and she deserves a break from the nightmare she’s currently going through.

At the moment she’s in hospital again being treated for a blockage in her bowel that’s caused by the cancer. 

She’s been in and out of hospital, during the new Covid guidelines, which means she’s been limited to how many visitors she can have and she’s been unable to see her son, Bradley, while she recovers.

Since being diagnosed and undergoing multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, Katie has lost alot of weight.

I was speaking with her a while back and out of all the things she could hope to have, she said she’d love to be able to go out and buy some new clothes as she doesn’t have anything that fits.

I figured that if I’d love to see her treating herself, and having a ‘day off’, so would others, as there’s only so much we can do, but this is something EVERYONE can do to help Katie feel better in herself and make her see how much support she has behind her.

Not only have I set up this page so you can donate any amount to help Katie, but we will also be hosting an event at the tattoo studio I manage. 

On the 31st October, we’ll be hosting a Halloween tattoo flash day, with the profits being donated straight into this gofundme. We’re planning other ways of raising money on the day too, so along with your help, we would love to see Katie achieve this goal of £500 or more.
