Luckily they were outside out of harms way, although the experience has taken an emotional toll. They are safe but out of their house for at least 2 months. Their entire house suffered from smoke damage meaning that almost everything will need to be replaced and the house will need extensive cleaning.

 

Katie and Jake will in no way be expecting this or would have ever asked for help so we decided to set this up on their behalf. We are looking to help with some extra expenses they may encounter while they navigate repairs to their house and dealing with the insurance company.

 

We know that many in the community, including family and friends, want to support Katie, Jake and the kids during this difficult time; we also recognize that many people are facing hardships and we want you to know that we are extremely grateful for any donation.
