To Our Family, Friends, colleagues, motor-roamers and anyone else reading this story,

If you are wondering what Katie might like for her upcoming 40th or are considering a belated housewarming/ wedding gift. If you are a motor-roam follower and have appreciated or enjoyed our journey. If you are an ex-colleague with a bonus check burning a hole in the pocket ( :-)) , a neighbour who would prefer to look at a prettier roof, a customer who thinks Dan doesn't charge enough for his time (he gets that a lot :-P) or a friend of a friend of a friend who would like to just do something nice. Or perhaps you tick none of those boxes? We still mean you! :-)

Turns out - we need a new roof and they don't come cheap!

So, if you were thinking about sending Katie some gin or cake in September for her big birthday or were considering a belated housewarming/ wedding gift OR just being generous for any other reason....or perhaps you can spare €5 we would be absolutely over the moon if you could help us towards funding our new roof.

A new roof is going to cost us around €30,000

Aside from helping us to find this massive expense we really like the idea that each of you will form part of the fabric of our dream. For every donation we gratefully receive you will be sponsoring some roof tiles!

This means your mark will be on our life here in perpetuity. We think its better than any card you could send us or guest book you could sign. It will be a symbol of the community of family and friends and motorroamers and neighbours that have all supported us on this journey.
