Katia's Fight Against Leukemia!

Hi, my name is Juan, and I am fundraising for my daughter, Katia. She is 7 years old and loves to play pretend with her dolls and stuffed animals. She has the most angelic smile and never hesitates to share her joy with her family and friends.

After several weeks of what we thought was a strange virus/illness, we had to admit Katia to the hospital because she could not hold down any amount of food/liquids and was very dehydrated and weak. After a barrage of pokes and tests, she has been diagnosed with Leukemia, and we are currently in the hospital as she begins her treatment plan. If things go well, we may be able to bring her home in the next week, where she can be more comfortable as she continues outpatient chemotherapy. Thankfully, it was caught early and she has a high survival rate, but it is still incredibly hard to wrap our minds around right now.

Many people have asked how they can help. Over the next two years, Katia will undergo an extensive treatment plan to eliminate the disease. The total cost of her treatment is undoubtedly going to be very expensive. By contributing to this campaign, you can help relieve some of the financial pressure our family will face during this fight.
