Kathy Brew was thrown from her horse when the neighbors dogs ran through her riding arena spooking her mount causing the animal to trip.

She was found face down, horse standing over her
bleeding from the mouth and nose, immobile.
EMS to Maui Memorial, 2 days in ICU.

She broke her neck (C1, C2 vertebrae atlas and axis). Lucky to be alive.

You can imagine the medical bills and loss of income.
